Lauren Pierce, the high-school Tri-State Archery Champion, celebrates irresponsibly with her teammate Emily, leading to a violent incident with Emily's abusive boyfriend. As a result, Lauren is sent to Paradise Ridge, a corrupt reform camp in the mountains of California, where she meets Rebecca, a strong and provocative young woman who helps her escape into the Utah wilderness. Together, they embark on a journey of growth, acceptance, and resilience, fighting for their lives and their beliefs.
